Vanessa Unzalu Troya lebt und arbeitet in Berlin-Neukölln. Im Alter von 15 Jahren erhielt sie zum Geburtstag eine analoge Minolta, die umgehend ihre Freude am Schwarz-Weiß- Fotografieren weckte. Sie konzentrierte sich auf die Abbildung von Formen und Strukturen und entwickelte die Bilder in der Dunkelkammer selber. Das endete abrupt, als die Kamera auf einer Reise in ihren Zwanzigern gestohlen wurde. Sie legte die Fotografie daraufhin zur Seite und wandte sich dem Theater zu. Vor einigen Jahren kehrte sie nach langer Pause zur Kamera zurück. Die vorliegende Ausstellung ist ihre erste öffentliche Schau.
Vanessa Unzalu Troya
lives and works in Berlin-Neukölln. At the age of 15, she received an analog Minolta camera for her birthday, which immediately sparked her interest in black-and-white photography. She concentrated on capturing shapes and structures and developed the pictures herself in the darkroom. This came to an abrupt end when the camera was stolen on a trip in her twenties. She then put photography aside and turned to theater. A few years ago, after a long break, she returned to the camera. This exhibition is her first public show.
