Urban Players is the term used here to describe those who create and make this public space available to others.

In this sense, the Jewish Museum Berlin is an urban actor: it represents Jewish life and culture and, together with the large numbers of visitors it attracts, provides a space in which the ways of engaging with a shared history can be negotiated in the heart of the city. The photographs in this series stylistically take up the rupture, fragmentation, the sense of no longer being in the right place, and the loss of an original unity. At its core is the floor installation Shalechet (Fallen Leaves), which visitors are explicitly invited to walk across. Or: I don\u2019t like reality, and I want to propose an alternative.
